Three walks from the gate

Over the hill to Playa de los Muertos, along the river into the jungle, or the long way to San Pancho. Bring water for two of them.

The short one takes twenty minutes: out of the gate, up past the cemetery and down to Playa de los Muertos, the calmest beach in town for a swim.

The river walk follows the water inland under the palms, past the farms, and back through town in time for a taco. Allow two hours.

The long one follows the coast north to San Pancho, about three hours on foot. We will pick you up at the other end, so there is no need to walk back.
