Benedict advises corporates and financial institutions on complex commercial litigation and regulatory investigations, with particular experience in cross-border fraud and asset recovery matters. He joined Thornhill's New York office in 2017 and was made partner in 2022, and has advised on matters including a corporate victim of fraud's urgent worldwide freezing order application and a claimant's multi-jurisdictional asset-tracing exercise following an investment fraud.

He frequently coordinates disputes strategy across multiple jurisdictions, working with local counsel and forensic accountants to build the evidential record needed to pursue complex fraud and recovery claims, and has recently advised a board on an internal investigation into whistleblower allegations.

Benedict holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and was admitted in New York in 2012. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the International Bar Association's Litigation Committee.
