About
Isla advises on construction and real estate disputes, as well as broader commercial litigation, and has particular experience acting for funders and developers on complex, multi-party disputes. She trained at Thornhill and qualified into the Disputes group in 2018, and has advised on matters including a developer's dispute with a contractor arising from a development agreement and a funder's position in a dispute affecting a project it had financed.
She regularly advises on adjudication, arbitration and litigation arising from major infrastructure and development projects, working closely with technical experts to present complex evidence clearly, including a recent multi-party dispute involving an employer, main contractor and subcontractors.
Isla holds an LL.B. from the University of Leeds and was admitted in England and Wales in 2018. She is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Technology and Construction Solicitors' Association.
