About
Mei advises on international arbitration and cross-border commercial disputes across the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on disputes arising from joint ventures and shareholder arrangements. She joined Thornhill's Hong Kong office in 2019, and has represented clients in institutional arbitrations under a range of governing laws and arbitral rules, including a claimant in an ICC arbitration arising from a cross-border joint venture dispute and a respondent in an arbitration concerning a disputed share purchase agreement.
She works closely with the firm's Corporate and Private Capital teams on disputes arising from cross-border transactions, and has recently advised on the enforcement of an arbitral award against assets held in multiple jurisdictions.
Mei holds an LL.B. from the University of Hong Kong and was admitted in Hong Kong in 2016. She is a member of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre's Young Practitioners Group.
