About
Frederick advises individuals and trustees on contentious and non-contentious private wealth matters, including will disputes and trust administration. He trained at Thornhill and qualified into the Private Wealth group in 2020, having previously completed a seat in the Disputes practice, which continues to inform his approach to contentious trust and estate matters such as defending an executor against a will validity challenge brought by a disinherited family member and advising a trustee on its position in a dispute between beneficiaries over trust distributions.
He is a trained mediator and regularly assists clients in resolving family disputes outside of court, drawing on his experience of both the litigation and advisory sides of private wealth practice, including the negotiated resolution of a contested estate administration.
Frederick holds an LL.B. from Durham University and was admitted in England and Wales in 2020. He is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
