Wei-Lin advises Asia-based family offices and entrepreneurs on succession planning, trust structuring and the governance of family-owned businesses. She joined Thornhill's Hong Kong office in 2019 and was made partner in 2023, and has particular experience advising first-generation wealth creators on the establishment of family governance frameworks as their businesses and personal wealth grow, including a third-generation family business on a new shareholder governance framework and a multi-family office platform on its establishment for a group of related families.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English, Wei-Lin advises clients across Greater China, Southeast Asia and Japan, and has recently advised on the establishment of a trust to hold a significant regional investment portfolio.

Wei-Lin holds an LL.B. from the University of Tokyo and was admitted in Hong Kong in 2013. She is a member of the Law Society of Hong Kong and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
