Sofia advises on private and public M&A transactions, including capital markets matters, and has experience advising both bidders and target boards on recommended and contested offers. She trained at Thornhill and qualified into the M&A group in 2019, and has advised on matters including a bidder's competing offer for a listed target and an issuer's initial public offering on a major exchange.

Sofia has a particular interest in transactions involving regulated sectors, and regularly works alongside the firm's Financial Services Regulation and Competition teams on deals requiring coordinated regulatory advice, including a recent scheme of arrangement effecting a public company merger.

Sofia holds an LL.B. from King's College London and was admitted in England and Wales in 2019. She is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.
